HoR passed Nepal University Bill 2081

KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives (HoR) has passed the Nepal University Bill 2081.

The bill was approved with a majority vote during a meeting of the House on Monday, following a proposal by Minister of Education, Science, and Technology Bidya Bhattarai.

The bill stipulates that the university’s office will be located outside the Kathmandu Valley.

The next meeting of the House of Representatives has been scheduled for Sept 10th, Tuesday, at 1 PM.
