KATHMANDU: Global IME Bank Limited (GIBL) has announced a special scheme offering five additional services along with regular features for new account holders.
Under this scheme, customers opening a new account will receive attractive interest rates and regular features, along with the option to apply for a Demat account, My Share account, C-ASBA registration number, and TMS account.
The Demat account, necessary for trading in securities, will be provided through GIBL, while My Share account facilitates its operation.
The C-ASBA registration number is required for IPO applications, and the TMS account is essential for buying and selling shares through JBNL Securities.
These services are also available through the recently introduced Digital Universe, allowing customers to access them from the comfort of their homes.
The services will be accessible through the bank’s 354 branch offices. Customers can join the scheme by opening a new account, modifying an existing one, or reactivating an inactive account.
GIBL is the first private sector bank in Nepal with a branch network across all 77 districts.
The bank boasts 354 branch offices, 379 ATMs, 255 branchless banking services, 68 extension and revenue collection counters, and three foreign representative offices.
