KATHMANDU: In a significant move towards enhancing the remittance landscape in Nepal, IME Limited and Commerce Plex Limited have signed a strategic partnership agreement.

The signing ceremony took place at IME Limited’s corporate office in Kathmandu.

The event was graced by IME Limited’s Chief Executive Officer, Diwakar Paudel, and General Manager, Badri Katuwal.

Representing Commerce Plex Limited were Business Head Shahroz A. Khan, along with Ms. Sanjana Farid, the Country Manager for Nepal and Bangladesh, and Shailendra Joshi, the Deputy Country Manager for Nepal.

Commerce Plex Limited, a subsidiary of Simpaisa and a licensed Foreign Money Service Business (FMSB) regulated by FINTRAC in Canada, aims to transform the remittance scenario in Nepal through this strategic partnership.

Speaking at the event, Shahroz A. Khan, Business Head of Commerce Plex Limited, emphasized that the partnership with IME Limited marks a significant step forward in promoting financial inclusion and delivering unparalleled service quality. He noted that this collaboration would empower migrants to send money through reliable channels.
