Woman dies in stray bull attack in Butwal

KATHMANDU: A 45-year-old woman, Sita Pandey, has died after being attacked by a stray bull in Butwal, Rupandehi.

Pandey, who was operating a snack shop at Golpark in Butwal Sub-Metropolitan City-3, was originally from Resunga Municipality-4, Gulmi.

On Aug 4, while on her way to buy milk from a dairy shop, Pandey was violently attacked by a stray bull that was engaged in a road fight.

She sustained severe injuries and was rushed to Lumbini State Hospital in Butwal, where she unfortunately succumbed to her injuries.

The incident has been reported by the police.
