KATHMANDU: Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah has vowed to take firm and effective revenge for the assassination of senior military commander Fouad Shukur.

Nasrallah emphasized that retaliation is unavoidable and may be carried out in collaboration with resistance forces from Iran and Yemen or independently.

Nasrallah has also threatened to attack industrial facilities in northern Israel.

This statement comes in the wake of a recent attack in the southern suburbs of Beirut, Dahieh, which resulted in the death of Shukur and seven other civilians.

Nasrallah has repeatedly warned of a decisive and painful response to Israeli aggression.
