UML Secretariat meeting begins with delay at Hotel Basera

KATHMANDU: The Secretariat meeting of the CPN (UML) has commenced at the Hotel Basera in Hanumansthan.
Initially scheduled for 11 a.m., the meeting started with a delay.
The meeting began after the Chair and Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli reached, said his secretariat. The Thursday meeting is expected to make decisions regarding the distribution of responsibilities among central party leaders.
In a previous Secretariat meeting held on July 10, a decision was made to review and adjust the responsibilities of central party leaders. Traditionally, UML Secretariat meetings have been held at the party’s central office. However, due to flooding at the Chyasal party office, the meeting was relocated to Hotel Basera.
Oli had suggested holding party meetings at a government residence, leading to the decision to convene the meeting at the hotel.
