GIBL to issue bonds, Laxmi Sunrise appointed as sales manager
The bank has initiated the issuance of '8% GIBL Bonds 2091/92'.
KATHMANDU: Global IME Bank Limited (GIBL) has appointed Laxmi Sunrise Capital Limited to manage the issuance and sale of bonds worth five billion Nepalese Rupees.
The bank has initiated the issuance of ‘8% GIBL Bonds 2091/92’.
Each unit of bond is priced at one thousand Nepalese Rupees, with a total of 5 million units available for sale.
Of these, 40% equivalent to 2 billion Rupees (2 million units) will be offered to the general public, while the remaining 60% equivalent to 3 billion Rupees (3 million units) will be sold privately.
These bonds have a tenure of 10 years and will yield an annual interest rate of 8%, payable semi-annually at 6/6 months.
The agreement was signed by Ratna Raj Bajracharya, Chief Executive Officer of GIBL, and Vijay Lal Shrestha, Chief Executive Officer of Laxmi Sunrise Capital Limited.
