Unilever Nepal provides 10 million aid to earthquake victims

KATHMANDU: Unilever Nepal Limited has donated 1 crore rupees to those affected by the Jajarkot earthquake.

Paying tribute to those who died in the earthquake, the company has collected 10 million rupees in the ‘Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund’ for the rehabilitation and reconstruction of the afflicted.

The cheque of the assistance amount was handed over to the Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ by a delegation of the directors and senior executives of the firm.

The day following the earthquake, the corporation provided tents, blankets, medication, dry food, horlicks, soup, and other emergency relief goods to the afflicted areas.
