NEPSE index increased by 1.39 points
The business sub-group grew the most, at 1.42 percent.

KATHMANDU: The NEPSE index increased by 1.39 points and remained at 1853.
Hotels, manufacturing, and microfinance sub-sectors all fell sharply on Monday.
Hotel and tourism fell 1.83 percent, manufacturing fell 1.91 percent, and the microfinance subgroup fell 1.42 percent.
The business sub-group grew the most, at 1.42 percent.
Banking 2, Development Bank 44, Finance 5, Hydropower 6, Life Insurance 94, Non-Life Insurance 71, and Business sub-group increased 37 points.
Other 1, microfinance 48, manufacturing 95, and the hotel and tourism sub-group decreased 91 points.
Global IME Microfinance and Karnali Bikas Bank have both grown by around 10%. Similarly, the price of Samaj microfinance increased by 8%, while the price of Sahash Urja increased by 7.7%.
Hathway Investment Company’s share price increased by 7.2%, while Khanikhola Hydropower’s price increased by 6.3%.
Forward Microfinance, Sayapatri Hydropower, and Upper Mailung Khola hydroelectricity prices have all fallen by 10%.
Himalayan Distillery’s price has dropped by 7%, while People’s Hydropower’s price has dropped by 5.3%.
The prices of these companies fell dramatically, especially when the first-quarter financial statements were poor.
As for Upper Mailung Khola, trading has started in the secondary market today.
