Guidelines for Social Media use public (full text)

KATHMANDU: The full text of “Directive 2080 on Regulating the use of Social Networks” has been published.

The government’s directive has been approved with amendments by the Council of Ministers, and the full text has been published.

It has been mentioned that the government has made this guide using the authority given by Section 79 of the Electronic Transactions Act, 2063.

According to the government, the directive was introduced to regulate the use of social media and to promote self-regulation of social media platform operators and social media users.

The directory is published in seven pages and 15 points.
