Portugal’s 10th victory in the European Cup Qualifiers

KATHMANDU: Portugal ended their Euro 2024 qualifying campaign with a perfect record. Portugal defeated Iceland 2-0 to win their 10th game in a row.

Bruno Fernandez, Manchester United’s captain, gave the team the lead in the 37th minute of the game with a pass from Bernardo Silva.

In the second half, Ricardo Horata scored the second goal for the team after Iceland’s goalkeeper saved Cristiano Ronaldo’s shot.

Portugal won all of its matches in 2023 after appointing Roberto Martinez as manager in January.
