Three Nepali movies hit theaters today

KATHMANDU: Three Nepali films were screened in Nepali theaters at the same time on Friday.
‘Pardeshi 2’, starring Prakash Saput, ‘Kausid’, starring Reecha Sharma, and ‘Basenji,’ Nepal’s first video game-style film, have all been screened.
Prakash Saput, Keki Adhikari, Barsha Siwakoti, Prashant Tamang, Dilip Rayamajhi, and others star in the film Pardeshi 2 directed by Narayan Rayamajhi. Ramesh Biji wrote the script for the film, which was produced by Narayan and Rajesh Banshal.
Kumar Bhaskar’s film ‘Kausid’ stars Reecha Sharma, Bholraj Sapkota, Rupesh Dahal, Parikshit Bikram Rana, Sadiksha Gautam, Nirbhik Bhattarai, Sagar Bhattarai, and others.
Produced by Richa Sharma, the film covers the life of a character who is under the grip of debt. Produced by Kedar Bhusal, the story of the film has been written by Nava Vijay Prakash Shrestha and Dhirjan Thapalia.
Directed by Ian Scott Clement, the film ‘Basenji’ stars Mithila Sharma, Sarita Giri, Ashim Niraula, Supreme Rai and others. Director Clement is an American citizen.
