US to give Kyiv long-range ATACMS missiles

KATHMANDU: The US is to provide Ukraine with long-range missiles.

President Joe Biden intends to give Ukraine with long-range weapons soon.

According to an official familiar with the topic of arms aid, after meeting with the Ukrainian president in Washington, he decided to give Kiev weaponry capable of hitting the interior of Russia.

He stated that Ukraine will now receive 300-kilometer-range ATACMS missiles.

Meanwhile, on Friday, a missile fired by Ukraine hit the headquarters of Russia’s Black Sea Fleet.

According to a Ukrainian military source, Storm Shadow missiles supplied by Britain and France struck the Sevastopol port.

These missiles have a maximum range of 122 kilometers and are capable of striking targets.
