Gold case: meeting is being held to form a high-level commission of inquiry

KATHMANDU: The government has called a meeting of the leaders of major parties to discuss the formation of a high-level commission of inquiry to investigate the gold case.

Mahesh Bartaula, the whip of the UML parliamentary party, said that according to the earlier agreement, the formation of a working group for the formation of the commission will be discussed in the meeting to be held at 5 pm today.

Currently, Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Narakayan Kaji Shrestha is meeting with the teachers who are protesting.

Following this discussion, the leaders of the major parties will meet to discuss the formation of the commission.
