Nepal facing America under the pressure of having to win
Nepal and America have played six One-Day International (ODI) matches thus far. All six matches between Nepal and America were contested in the ICC World Cup League 2.

KATHMANDU: Nepal is facing the USA in their second match under the ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier. The match will begin at 12:45 p.m. Nepali time.
Nepal was beaten by host Zimbabwe in the tournament’s first match. Zimbabwe beat Nepal by 8 wickets.
Similarly, America was defeated in their first encounter against the West Indies. After losing the first game, Nepal and America are under pressure to win today.
Nepal and America have played six One-Day International (ODI) matches thus far. All six matches between Nepal and America were contested in the ICC World Cup League 2.
Nepal has won three matches while losing two.
Likewise, one game has been tied. Nepal will play its third match against the West Indies on Ashar 7 (June 22) and its final group-stage encounter against the Netherlands on Ashar 9 (June 24).
The 10 countries that will play the World Cup qualifiers have been divided into two groups. Group A includes Nepal, West Indies, Zimbabwe, America and the Netherlands while Group B includes Ireland, Sri Lanka, UAE, Scotland and Oman.
The top three teams from both groups will qualify for the Super Six. In the Super Six, they will compete against three teams from another group. In the end, the top two teams will make it to the World Cup. The tournament will be held in Zimbabwe from Ashar 3 to 24 (June 18 to July 9).
