KATHMANDU: A newlywed couple perished on the first night of their wedding in the Uttar Pradesh district of Bahraich. The newlywed couple perished on their wedding night here last Thursday.

As mentioned by Hindustan Times, 24-year-old Pratap Yadav got married to 22-year-old Pushpa Yadav on May 30. On the evening of May 31, he returned home with his bride. They went to bed that night after finishing all of the post-marriage rites. The next morning both discovered dead.

A team of forensic experts was summoned to examine the room in order to determine the cause of death.

‘There was no trace of forced entrance into the room or injuries on the couple’s bodies, which would indicate any foul play in their deaths,’ said Inspector Rajnath Singh of the Kaisarganj police station.

Meanwhile, the findings of the heart attack autopsy study astonished many.

According to the authorities, a team of forensic experts is investigating the room and the circumstances to determine the cause of death.

The police are looking into the incident.
