One dies of drowning in Phewa Lake
The deceased has been identified as 63-year-old Min Gurung.
KATHMANDU: One person has died after drowning in Phewa Lake.
The deceased has been identified as 63-year-old Min Gurung of Ghandruk, Kaski Annapurna Rural Municipality died on Saturday.
Gurung drowned on Saturday while fishing in Phewa Lake of Pokhara-23, Pame Khapaundi, police said.
His body was recovered from the lake by the police at 7:30 p.m.
Kaski Police said that he was found dead after about 3 and a half hours.
His body has been sent to Western Regional Hospital.
