Three Nations Cup: Nepal & Laos tied 1-1 in 1st half

KATHMANDU: Nepal and Laos are tied 1-1 until the end of the first half in the final match of the Prime Minister’s Three Nations Cup football tournament at Dasharath Stadium.

Phoutthavong of Laos scored in the 17th minute to give Laos a one-goal lead. Aayush Ghalan scored 7 minutes later, in the 24th minute of the game, to tie the game at 1-1.

The final title race is currently underway between Nepal, which is undefeated in the league stage, and Laos, which is second in the league stage and has confirmed the final with Nepal.

The competition winner will receive a prize of 5,000 US dollars, while the runner-up will receive a prize of 3,000 dollars. The tournament winner will receive $500 US dollars.

Bhutan along with Nepal and Laos participated in Prime Minister’s Three Nations Cup football tournament.
