Former minister Thapa appointed political adviser to the president

KATHMANDU: Sunil Bahadur Thapa, a former minister and member of the Nepali Congress Central Executive Committee, has been appointed as President Ram Chandra Poudel’s chief political advisor (as a minister).

Sunil Thapa, the son of RPP leader and former Prime Minister Surya Bahadur Thapa, has recently joined the Nepali Congress. He was the Minister of Supply.

Thapa has also worked at the highest levels of the United Nations.
