Cristiano Ronaldo included in Portugal squad for upcoming Euro 2024 qualifiers

KATHMANDU: Cristiano Ronaldo has been included in Portugal’s EuroCup qualifying team.

Roberto Martinez, the head coach, has named Ronaldo to the EuroCup qualifying team.

This month, Portugal plays EuroCup qualifiers against Liechtenstein and Luxembourg.

Portugal will take on Liechtenstein on March 23, followed by Luxembourg three days later.

After the 2022 World Cup, Ronaldo’s international future was called into question. Portugal was defeated in the quarter-finals of the Qatar World Cup by Morocco.

Ronaldo set a record with 118 goals in 196 appearances for Portugal. Ronaldo has joined Al Nasr in Saudi Arabia after leaving Manchester United in November.
