KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has asked the Nepal Doctors Association to reverse the hospital closure decision.

In response to the attacks on doctors, the Nepal Physicians Association has decided to shut down all non-emergency health services at health institutions across the country on Sunday.

The meeting of the association held on Saturday decided to stop the health services across the country except for emergencies in protest of the police beating of Dr. Janithlal Singh, a doctor at the National Trauma Center on Friday.

RSP General Minister and Spokesperson Dr. Mukul Dhakal issued a statement today expressing condolences for the police baton charge and requesting that the doctors’ association withdraw the decision to close the hospital.
