Most awaited Maxus officially launched in Nepal

KATHMANDU: The Maxus T60, T70 Double Cab Pickup Truck, and V80 Cargo Van have been launched in Nepal by Paramount Motors Pvt. Ltd., the official distributor and importer of Maxus Vehicles.

The launch program was followed by the much-anticipated price reveal and the opening of the showroom.

To meet the demands of the modern driving experience, these premium vehicles are equipped with a 2.8L and 2.0L Turbo Diesel Engine with Variable Geometry Turbocharger Technology, with peak torque of 360Nm and 375Nm and maximum power of 110KW and 120KW. The Maxus T60, T70, and V80 are priced at Rs.77.99 lakhs, Rs.68.49 lakhs, and Rs.50.49 lakhs, respectively.

Among the notable features of the Maxus T60 and T70 pickup trucks are automatic air conditioning, keyless entry and start, a push-start button, a height-adjustable steering wheel, cruise control, rain-sensing wipers, Bluetooth connectivity, and automatic climate control.

The Maxus pickup trucks are the longest and widest in their class, despite being classified as a midsize pickup. The Maxus T60 and T70 also have locking differentials, which improve their off-road capabilities.

This pickup appears to be ideal for Nepalese terrain, with a wheelbase of 3,155 mm and a ground clearance of 215 mm. In terms of safety, the T60 has received a 5-star ANCAP rating.

Four airbags, ABS with EBD (Electronic Brakeforce Distribution), ESP, ISOFIX child seat tethers, hill start assist system, traction-control system, electronic brake assist, rear parking sensor, and reverse camera are standard on the pickup.

The Eco-D 2.5L Turbo Diesel Common-rail Direct Injection engine in the Maxus V80 Cargo Van meets Euro IV emission standards. The intercooled, electronically regulated Bosch engine produces 100kw at 3800rpm and 330Nm of torque, making it ideal for transportation and family trips.

The Eco-D 2.5L Turbo Diesel Common-rail Direct Injection engine in the V80 Panel Van meets Euro IV emission standards. Panel Van is a true workhorse that offers versatility and maneuverability for the ideal commercial application.
