Separate law to fix lawyer’s remuneration: PM

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has stated that efforts will be made to create a separate law for government lawyers’ remuneration and benefits. On Monday, Prime Minister Prachanda was monitoring the Attorney General’s office.

Prime Minister Prachanda stated that the facilities and services provided to justice service employees will be improved over the past.

He stated that monitoring of prisons, detention cells, and juvenile correctional facilities revealed that they were unsatisfactory, and that they would be improved.

The Prime Minister also mentioned expanding the Forensic Science Laboratory to the state level. He stated that the government will assist in increasing the number of public prosecutors.
