KATHMANDU: Last night, one person died in a road accident in Rupandehi’s Bhairahawa. The accident injured two more people.

A young man from Tanahun Bhimad was killed when a bus and a car traveling from Butwal to Bhairahwa collided with a truck parked on the road at Anchalpur in Bhairahawa, according to the District Traffic Police Office Rupandehi.

According to the police, the vehicles that collided with the truck No. Lu 2 Kha 606, which was stopped on the road, were a bus No. Lu 2 Kha 6038 and a private car No. Ga 1 Cha 3713. All those killed and injured in the accident are bus employees.

Harish Tiwari of Bhimad in Tanahun was killed in the accident, according to District Police Office Rupandehi.

Basu Ghimire, of Binayi Triveni in West Nawalparasi, and Dipesh Ghimire, of the same location, were both injured.

According to police, around 3:30 p.m., a bus and a private car collided with a truck parked in front of the Nepal Oil Corporation depot in Anchalpur on the Siddharth highway’s Belhia Butwal road section.
