KATHMANDU: The families of those who died in the shipwreck will receive a monetary award of 20,000 US dollars.

The family of each citizen who died in an internal air crash in Nepal will receive 20,000 US dollars, according to the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN).

As per the foreign exchange rate on Sunday, the exchange rate of one American dollar is 129.83 rupees, so the family of the deceased will get about 25 lakh 94 thousand rupees.

Similarly, each crew member will receive 40,000 US dollars in insurance. Himalayan General Insurance Company is in charge of the plane’s insurance.

Yeti Airlines has canceled all flights scheduled for Monday as a result of the plane crash.

The airlines have issued a notice stating that all regular flights across the country will be canceled on Monday.
