ANNFSU protests against ordinance (with photos)
Today, ANNFSU protested in front of Tri Chandra College against the decision to amend the Criminal Procedure Code, 2074 through an ordinance to exempt prisoners convicted of crimes in various cases.
KATHMANDU: ANNFSU, a student organization supported by the UML, demonstrated against the government’s recently introduced ordinance.
Today, ANNFSU protested in front of Tri Chandra College against the decision to amend the Criminal Procedure Code, 2074 through an ordinance to exempt prisoners convicted of crimes in various cases.
The ANNFSU has protested, claiming that the government is preparing an ordinance to grant immunity to criminal defendants Resham Chaudhary and Mohammad Aftab Alam.
The ordinance is also opposed by the ruling coalition and UML leaders.
The Ordinance to facilitate the future power equation has arrived at the President’s Office Sheetal Niwas.
