KATHMANDU: The CPN (Unified Socialist Party) has concluded that the election results were not as expected.

The Socialist secretariat met on Tuesday at the party office in Tinkune to review the party’s electoral victory thus far and concluded that the party did not win as expected.

After the meeting, the party’s spokesperson, Jagannath Khatiwada, stated that while the election results were not as expected, it was decided that the alliance’s achievements should be protected. He believes that we should proceed in the coming days in accordance with the spirit of the alliance.

He stated that there will be additional discussions even after the election results are finalized. The meeting decided to thank everyone who helped make the election a success.
