Country can go on right-wing path, should be cautious: Chair Nepal

KATHMANDU: Madhav Kumar Nepal, Chairperson of the CPN (Unified Socialist Party), has stated that the country should be cautious because it appears to be heading in the right direction.

Speaking to the media at the party office in Tinkune on Tuesday, Chair Nepal stated that the country should be serious and cautious following the election results as it appears that the country will go down the right-wing path.

He stated that cooperation with coalition parties should be maintained in the current situation.

Similarly, Chair Nepal informed that there were discrepancies in Ilam during the election and that there was a discussion within the party about going through the legal route for re-voting.

He stated that the party is also taking the election results seriously.
