COVID: Five new COVID-19 cases reported in Nepal

KATHMANDU: As of Tuesday, Nepal had recorded five new COVID-19 cases in the previous 24 hours.

Four of the confirmed cases were discovered using the RT-PCR method and one using the Antigen method. 890 confirmed cases were tested using the RT-PCR method, while 396 were tested using the Antigen method.

There have been no COVID-19-related deaths in the last 24 hours, bringing the COVID-19 death toll to 12,019 so far.

There are currently 390 active cases in the country, with 20 infected patients recovering in the last 24 hours.
