36.13 percent votes cast in Lalitpur

LALITPUR: In the voting for the House of Representatives and State Assembly elections held today, 36.13 percent voting was done in Lalitpur district till 1 pm.

“Until 1 pm today, 36.13 percent voting has been done in all 290 polling stations”, says Chief District Officer Jaya Narayan Acharya, “We expect more than 60 percent voting by the appointed time.”

According to Acharya, voting has stopped in one polling station in the district.

Voting was stopped after the direct ballot of the House of Representatives was placed in the proportional ballot box and the proportional ballot was placed in the direct ballot box at the polling station in the ward office building under Ward No. 28 in Constituency No. 3 of Lalitpur.
