UML secretariat meeting today, candidate selection main agenda

KATHMANDU: CPN (UML) secretariat meeting is sitting today.

The meeting will begin at 3 p.m. at the home of Chairperson KP Sharma Oli in Balkot.

The meeting’s agenda was not disclosed. However, because direct nominations for the House of Representatives and the State Assembly must be registered by October 9, the same issue will be discussed, according to the leaders.

The earlier central committee meeting delegated responsibility for selecting candidates to the secretariat. In UML, the floor committee has already recommended direct candidates.
