KATHMANDU: The identities of three people killed in a fire in Kapan, Budhanilkantha Municipality-10, have been revealed.

The fire killed Ashok Rai of Sankhuwasabha, who is now living in Sukedhara, Karsang Tenji Sherpa of Tapjelung, and Chhewang Sherpa of Kathmandu-25.

Kushal Budhathoki, 28, was injured in the fire at Elite Himalayan Adventure Pvt Ltd near Kapan Gumba. He is being treated at Chunikhel’s Karuna Hospital.

Tanka Ghising is the owner of the house where the fire occurred, according to the District Police Complex in Kathmandu.

Nirmal Purja (Nims Dai), a well-known record mountaineer, owns the aforementioned trekking office.
