Nepali cricket team returns home from Kenya tour

KATHMANDU: Nepal’s national cricket team has returned home after a tour of Kenya.

Nepal Cricket Association (CAN) officials greeted the Nepalese team. Nepal faced Kenya in T-20 and ODI series.
Nepal defeated the host team 3-2 in the five-match T-20 international series. Similarly, the three-match one-day series was a 3-0 drubbing. Rohit Kumar Poudel, who took over as captain of the one-day series after returning to the country, stated that the tournament provided him with new experiences. He stated that as captain, he has the support of all the players.
Similarly, player Gyanendra Malla stated that he is eager to represent his country in any capacity. He stated that despite some difficulties in the beginning when he returned to the team after a long absence, he played a satisfactory game.
The players who have returned to Nepal are getting ready to join their respective teams for the men’s cricket match as part of the Ninth National Games.
