Dhakal, chairperson of non-governmental organization federation Morang, arrested

BIRATNAGAR: Rajendra Dhakal, the chairperson of the Morang non-governmental organization federation, has been arrested.

Dhakal was arrested in the evening after a complaint was filed against him on Wednesday for allegedly sexually abusing a 13-year-old boy. District Police Office Morang DSP Deepak Shrestha informed.

Dhakal, who was arrested in Biratnagar-12, is being interrogated, according to Shrestha. He is the Dhakal Education Helpline’s chairperson.

According to the police, an investigation into the arrested person is underway.
