NC to become largest party in upcoming elections: Deuba

KATHMANDU: Sher Bahadur Deuba, Nepali Congress (NC) President and Prime Minister, has stated that the goal in the upcoming federal and state elections should be to win more seats rather than run for more seats.

He made the remarks during a program held today at Sanepa for municipal chiefs and deputy chiefs elected by NC in the most recent local elections.

Deuba stated during the event, “NC should use the upcoming election to transform itself into the largest party. The central working committee has already decided to run in the election as a coalition.”
