China says – ‘We are always in favor of Nepal’s national integrity’

KATHMANDU: China has stated that it will always support Nepal’s growth and prosperity. Hou Yanqi, the Chinese ambassador to Nepal, briefed the media on the situation. On Friday morning, she met with Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota.
She mentioned it during the meeting. “She expressed her commitment to China’s continued support and cooperation in Nepal’s future development and prosperity,” said Speaker Sapkota’s Secretariat.
She stated that Nepal is a good Chinese neighbor. She also commended Nepal’s “one China policy.” “China has always firmly supported Nepal’s independence, sovereignty, and national integrity,” she added.
In the same meeting, when Speaker Sapkota stated that China is continuously supporting Nepal and expects more assistance, Ambassador Yanchi praised Nepal’s “One China Policy” and stated that China is always willing to assist.
