Actor Anoop Bikram Shahi joins NC

KATHMANDU: Anoop Bikram Shahi, an actor, has joined the Nepali Congress (NC).

On Friday morning, actor Shahi, who has appeared in over two dozen films, entered the Congress in the middle of a program.

Bal Krishna Khand, the Home Minister and Congress leader, gave him membership in Nepal Tarun Dal as well as party membership.

Former Tarun Dal chairpersons Mahendra Yadav, Uday Shamsher Rana, Jitjung Basnet, and Bidhan Gurung chairperson were present at the party entry program held at the Minister’s residence Pulchowk.

He has appeared in in over a dozen films such as ‘Dravya,’ ‘Saurya,’ ‘Hasiya,’ ‘Thamel.Com,’ ‘How Funny,’ ‘Bir Bikram,’ ‘Kamaley Ko Bihe,’ ‘Kri,’ ‘Hurray,’ ‘Lily Bily,’ and ‘Purano Bullet.’
