Fishtail Dream Park’s aggressive opening: 10,000 visitors in 10 days

KATHMANDU: There has been an influx of tourists since the official opening of Pokhara’s Fishtail Dream Park.

Hira KC, the park’s owner, reported that 10,000 visitors visited the park in 10 days after it opened on July 30. This park, which cost 500 million to build, is spread across 65 ropani lands. According to Hira, the attraction of tourists may have increased due to the proximity of water and dry sports.

“Our main goal is to develop this park as the largest water sports park in Pokhara as a center point where people come to enjoy,” Hira says. “There are about 25 different types of events here, including indoor games, dry park, wet park, sofa slide, lazy river, free fall, tornado babel, wave pull, train.”

He claims that 5 thousand people can have fun in the park at the same time by playing various games. The park is about 4 kilometers from Pokhara’s old airport and 5 kilometers from Prithivi Chowk. You can get here by private car as well as public transportation from the airport to Dhungesahu, Sitapaila.

Fishtail Dream Park has an entrance fee of 200 rupees. Children receive a 50 percent discount.

Similarly, the water park package costs Rs 1,000, and the dry park package costs Rs 450. It will cost Rs 150 to Rs 300 per game for those who want to play limited games after entry.
