Chances of heavy rain in these four states

KATHMANDU: Meteorologists have stated that the country is experiencing partial to normal change. This morning, light to moderate rain is falling in a few places in the Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim states.

Last night, there was heavy rain in various parts of the country including Kathmandu Valley. Forecasters predict that showers will be light to moderate across the country this afternoon.

According to the Department of Water and Meteorology, light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is possible in some parts of the country’s hilly areas and in a few places elsewhere. Heavy rain is possible in one or two areas of State 1, Bagmati and Gandaki States.

According to the department, there will be normal rain in Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim States tonight. There is a chance of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in parts of Bagmati and Gandaki, as well as a few other parts of the country. Heavy rain is possible in one or two areas of Bagmati, Gandaki, and Sudurpaschim State.

There is a risk of soil erosion, landslides, and landslides in State 1, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Sudurpaschim due to the possibility of heavy rain.

As rising water levels in rivers, canals, and rivers may disrupt people’s daily lives, the department has asked for increased vigilance.
