Change across the country, such is the three-day forecast

KATHMANDU: Meteorologists predict that the weather will change and rain will fall in different parts of the country.

This morning there is a partial to moderate shower across the country. Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is falling in Sudurpaschim, Karnali, Gandaki, and the Bagmati States, as well as one or two other states.

The Department of Water and Meteorology predicts scattered to moderate showers across the country this afternoon. Light to moderate rain is possible in some hilly areas and in a few other parts of the country.

Across the country, skies will be partly to partly cloudy tonight. There is a chance of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in some parts of the country’s hilly areas and a few places elsewhere.

Heavy rain is possible in one or two places in Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim states, according to the Weather Forecast Division.

There is a risk of soil erosion, landslides, and gegran drift in Gandaki and Karnali States due to the possibility of heavy rain in one or two locations. The department urges people to take the necessary precautions as the water level in rivers, canals, and rivers may rise, disrupting daily life.
