KATHMANDU: Only after local elections did 8,000 new voters register in the Kaski district. The dates for the House of Representatives and State Assembly elections have already been announced by the government.

There is currently no way to obtain a new voter list. The Election Office has added 8,000 voters to the voter list for the upcoming elections as of August 5.

The Pokhara Metropolitan Area has had the most names added. The final list will be prepared in a few days, according to Head of Election Office Humnath Parajuli, because some voters have yet to register. In the Baisakh (April/May) local elections, there were 281 thousand 833 voters in Kaski.
