LOSAPA meeting to decide on deputy speaker

KATHMANDU: The Democratic Socialist Party is holding its central executive meeting.

The afternoon meeting will decide who to vote for as Deputy Speaker.

The meeting, according to LOSAPA MP Chanda Chaudhary, will decide which candidate to be supported as Deputy Speaker.

However, according to LOSAPA, the vote to support the alliance’s candidate is strong.

The election of the Deputy Speaker will take place at 3 p.m. Pushpa Bhusal of the Nepali Congress and Bidya Bhattarai of the main opposition party CPN-UML are competing for the ruling coalition.
