KATHMANDU: The water level in Kathmandu Valley has risen due to the rains that have fallen since last night.

According to the Department of Water and Meteorology’s Flood Forecast Division, heavy rains fell in the valley last night.

The water level in Hanumante, Manohara, Bagmati, and their tributaries is rising in tandem with the rains.

The branch has requested that people remain vigilant until 9 a.m. as water from these rivers and canals could end up on the road. Those walking along the river should also be cautious.
