3 thousand jobs within 6 months, city wires underground within 2 years
Metropolitan has stated that it will employ 3,000 people in the first six months of each fiscal year.
KATHMANDU: Pokhara Municipal Corporation has presented fiscal year 2079/80 policies and programs. The power lines will be laid underground within two years, according to Mayor Dhanraj Acharya’s policy and program.
Since then, it has been incorporated into Pokhara’s policies and programs, which have been a problem in most policies and programs but not underground. ‘Within the next two years, telephone and other wires in major urban areas will be removed, and underground optical fiber will be connected.
The policy and program stated that laying electric wires underground will reduce urban risks and enhance the beauty in collaboration with Nepal Electricity Authority and cost-sharing.
Similarly, the metropolitan has stated that it will employ 3,000 people in the first six months of each fiscal year.
