Parliament approves bill to amend some acts against sexual violence

KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives has approved two bills.

Today’s meeting unanimously approved Bill 2079 to amend some Acts against Sexual Violence and Bill 2079 to amend some Acts related to Criminal Offenses and Criminal Procedure and sent it to the committee for discussion.

The meeting unanimously approved the proposal of Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Govinda Prasad Sharma to send a bill to the House of Representatives for discussion in the House of Representatives Bill 2079 to amend some Acts against Sexual Violence and Bill 2079 to amend some Acts on Criminal Offenses and Criminal Procedure.

Now the two bills will be discussed in the concerned committee.
