KATHMANDU: MAY. 27 – The Fonepay Digital Economy Conclave will hold its second edition in view of the country’s rapid digitization.

Brandworth Pvt. Ltd. is organizing the conclave, which will take place on June 3. The Conclave will hold extensive discussions with all stakeholders about the latest digitization possibilities, opportunities, and challenges.

The edition will feature extensive interactions and debates on four different topics, including ‘Changing Times, Changing Economy,’ ‘Impact Forever,’ and ‘Nepal: Small Market or Unlimited Possibilities?’ Also, when will we have a distinct Nepali identity?’

Despite the COVID-19 epidemic, the global digital economy has thrived. The majority of people today appear to be drawn to online businesses. Many traditional or offline businesses are transforming their operations online.

According to the company, the main goal of this year’s Conclave is to generalize economic activity from the COVID-19 effect and how digitization in public life can be used for economic growth and social justice.

Sandeep Ghosh, Group Country Manager for Visa South Asia and India, and Maha Prasad Adhikari, Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank, will speak at the conclave.

Separate sessions on digital development in Nepal will be held with Finance Minister Janardan Sharma and Communications and Information Technology Minister Gyanendra Bahadur Karki.
