35,894 votes counted in Dhangadhi thus far (with list)

DHANGADHI: MAY. 19 – Votes are being counted in Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitian.

According to the most recent poll results, Gopal Hamal, an independent candidate for mayor, secured 16,415 votes. His closest rival Nrip Bahadur Oad, a Nepali Congress coalition candidate, polled 8,123 votes.

Similarly, Ran Bahadur Chand of the UML obtained 3,774 votes.

Shanti Adhikari, a Maoist central candidate, secured 7,457 votes for the post of deputy mayor.

Kandakala Rana of the UML polled 6,617 votes, while independent candidate Prabhakar Bhandari secured 4,154 votes.
