Woman found dead in forest in Mahottari
KATHMANDU: APRIL. 16 – On Friday night, a woman was found dead in a forest in Manara Sishwa Municipality-3, Mahottari district.
Jishavidevi Shah’s body was found inside the forest by her family, according to the District Police Office in Mahottari.
Jishavidevi, a resident of the district’s Samsi Rural Municipality, had gone out to cut grass around 5 p.m. on Friday and did not return home until late at night.
Jishadevi, Sogarath Shah’s wife, was found dead during a family search. According to DSP Prakash Bista, the police team reached at the scene late at night and found that the deceased was uninjured.
Locals and relatives of the deceased assumed that the death was caused by a snake bite or blood pressure problems.
According to police, an additional investigation into the case is underway.
