Former member of National Sports Council Secretary Silwal’s writ rejected

KATHMANDU: APRIL. 5 – The Supreme Court denied Ramesh Kumar Silwal’s writ petition to keep his position as member secretary of the National Sports Council.

Silwal’s writ petition was dismissed on Tuesday by a bench of Justices Anil Kumar Sinha and Kumar Regmi.

Silwal had gone to the Supreme Court against the current government’s decision to dismiss Silwal and appoint Tanklal Ghising as the new member secretary.

With this decision of the Supreme Court, the way is now open for Ghising to work.
