KATHMANDU: JAN. 23 – On Sunday, Nepal’s stock market dropped roughly 11 points. The index, which includes 8 of the 13 subgroups, fell 10.83 points to 2920.51 points.

On Sunday, a total of 14.74 million shares from 232 companies totalling Rs 7.38 billion 8 thousand were traded.

On Sunday, the banking subgroup index dropped 2.77 per cent, while the trade, hotel and tourism, development bank, hydropower, and investment subgroup index dropped more than 1%.

On this day, Nepal Telecom Company topped the list in terms of the transaction amount. On this day, Rs 321.4 million worth of business shares were bought and sold.

Similarly, more than 190 million shares of Api Power and more than 170 million shares of NIC Asia and Shikhar Insurance were traded.
